About the Class
I am teaching both Math and English/Reading this year for 7th grade resource room students.
Math:
The students in my math class will follow the regular curriculum with about 2-3 days being spent on each lesson. Students will be taught a lesson and then given supplemental activities to reinforce the material. Tests will be given at the end of each chapter and quizzes will be given after half the chapter has been completed. Students will have homework daily and should complete on a consistent basis.
English/Reading:
The students will read several novels throughout the year and work on comprehension skills related to the novel. The major focus of the English class will be improving the students' writing skills. We will have daily spelling and grammar activities and students will also have long-term writing assignments to complete.
